Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process on a 30-bed Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Incorporate educational requirements and competencies specific to the care of cardiac patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6, ensuring safe and effective care delivery
• Float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry units as required
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1–2 years of Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Ability and willingness to float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Experience with cardiac patient populations in a step-down or telemetry setting
