Travel RN – Renal Medicine (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Renal Medicine unit, managing a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:6
• Perform and assist with peritoneal dialysis procedures, including operation of cyclers
• Utilize mobilization and lift equipment, scales, and other unit-specific equipment to support patient safety and care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and HUC staff across day shift operations
• Float to like units or serve as a sitter as needed; rotate weekends and holidays per unit schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active and appropriate RN licensure for the state of North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• PCT certificate
• Telemetry experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certified peritoneal dialysis nurse
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
