Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd shift

Plastic packaging manufacturing company in Carson is looking to hire Electro-Maintenance Mechanics to join their team on the 2nd shift.

• Monday - Friday
• 6pm - 6am
• Must be available for overtime and weekends

Performance Requirements:

• Strength demands: Includes exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and sitting, standing and walking to a significant degree.
• Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas.
• Experience with electrical systems, product manuals, schematics, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, reading mechanical drawings
• Experience in electrical/electronics, PLC’s (programmable logic controls), A/C and D/C motors, drives and controls.
• Experience wiring 24V and 480V motors; and programming settings on the VFD’s for these motors.
• Knowledge of in-house equipment and machinery.
• Proficiency with electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting with a strong understanding of AC and DC voltages and mechanical power transmission systems.
• All other duties and responsibilities determined by individual department and/or reasonably assigned from time to time.
