SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (Experienced) — On‐site | Denver Tech Center

What you’ll do:

·         Lead audit, review, compilation, and preparation engagements.

·         Oversee financial statement preparation; resolve complex accounting issues.

·         Supervise, coach, and review work of junior staff; contribute to process improvement.

·         Support planning and advisory; manage client relationships.

·         Prepare and review complex individual, business, and trust returns.

What makes you a fit:

·         2+ years public accounting experience (more is welcome); review/engagement leadership.

·         Strong technical tax and/or assurance knowledge; supervisory experience preferred.

·         CPA preferred (or equivalent experience).  Oil & gas exposure is a plus (not required).

Work setting & hours:

·         In‐office (DTC).

·         Standard 8‐hour day with a consistent start between 7:30–9:30 a.m.

·         Busy season requires additional hours (see premium pay below).

·         Summer Fridays: every other Friday off from roughly May 15–Aug 1 (~6 extra PTO days).

Compensation & classification:

·         Base salary: $75,000–$100,000 (DOE; CPA and leadership scope influence offer).

·         Exempt premium: Salaried exempt roles are eligible for a straight‐time premium (1.0× equivalent hourly rate) for hours over 40 in a week.

·         Other compensation: No standard/formulaic bonuses; discretionary spot awards may be used for extraordinary contributions.
