Archetype Undersea, a Quantum Leap Company, delivers immersive, mission-driven training that equips elite military units with the precision, mindset, and capability to dominate the full spectrum of modern subsea warfare.

Archetype Undersea is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to support the assembly and testing of specialized underwater systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in an environment where quality and attention to detail matter.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and final products from drawings and work instructions
  • Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and test equipment safely and effectively
  • Perform wire preparation, crimping, connector assembly, and cable fabrication
  • Conduct inspections and basic testing to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Document assembly and testing activities for traceability
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repair of equipment as needed
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
  • Support inventory management and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, automotive, marine, aviation, or related technical experience
  • Ability to read basic assembly drawings and follow written instructions
  • Experience using hand and power tools and precision measurement tools
  • Experience soldering electronics and using multi-meter
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Photo editor, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete floors for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for precision work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to wear required PPE

Preferred:

  • Basic analog electronics knowledge (volts, amps, resistance, capacitance, watts)
  • Basic manual or CNC machining experience
  • Technical school, military technical training, or vocational education
  • Manufacturing, automotive, aviation, marine, or industrial maintenance background

Veterans and SCUBA divers are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits:

We seek the best-and-brightest professionals at all levels so offer highly competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Salary ranges reflect compensation for qualified candidates across a range of experience levels and are flexible; actual salary will be determined based on demonstrated skills, experience, and performance.

Company-sponsored benefits include: 6% 401(k) company match with immediate vesting, educational assistance up to $7,000 per year, 100% insurance premium subsidy for employees (75% for dependents), Anthem medical, Guardian dental, life and disability coverage, 3 weeks’ vacation, 2 weeks sick leave, and 11 holidays.
