About the Role:
Kidokinetics Dallas is looking for an energetic and passionate Children's Sports and Fitness Coach to inspire the next generation of athletes age 3-12. In this exciting role, you'll bring movement, fun, and confidence to kids through dynamic sports and fitness programming. If you love working with children and have a knack for making fitness feel like play, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate sports and fitness classes for children of varying skill levels
- Must be mobile with reliable transportation to class locations
- Introduce kids to a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, gymnastics, and more
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment that encourages participation and builds confidence
- Adapt coaching techniques to meet the developmental needs of different age groups
- Communicate progress and updates with parents and guardians in a professional manner
- Set up and break down equipment before and after sessions
- Enforce safety guidelines and monitor children's well-being throughout all activities
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of youth sports, physical education, or child development
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine love for working with kids
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various program locations in the Dallas area
- Must pass a background check
