Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems on commercial and residential job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Install all fire alarm devices, including smoke detectors, duct detectors, pull stations, notification appliances (horns/strobes), and related field devices
• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints to determine device placement and wiring routes
• Pull and run the correct cable to designated device locations
• Troubleshoot and test devices after installation to ensure proper system function
• Work collaboratively with other trades on job sites
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements:

• Prior experience with low-voltage wiring, electrical, or fire alarm installation preferred
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts) and in various site conditions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
