Accountant

Accountant needed for busy, well established home builder & developer in the Poconos. Please note we are not accepting agency submissions or headhunter outreach for this position.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Manage all day to day bookkeeping functions using Quickbooks Enterprise for multiple entities.
• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll (outsourced through Paychex).
• Maintain bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and ad hoc reporting as requested.
• Year end reporting, 1099's, W-2's and collaboration with CPA.
• Request bank draws on all construction contracts.

Requirements

• 5+ Years experience in an accounting office.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in accounts payable/receivable management, balance sheet schedules and account analysis.
• Excellent numeracy skills combined with strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and account reconciliation tasks.
• Excel skills are expected.
