Family Law Paralegal

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, experienced, and detail-oriented Florida Family Law Paralegal to support our busy Family Law Firm in Satellite Beach. You will be responsible for handling family law matters from intake to conclusion. This is a great opportunity.

This is an in-office position, but some remote days are possible for the right candidate

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting attorney with all phases of family law cases
• Drafting pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, discovery documents, and correspondence
• Organizing and maintaining electronic files
• Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, and maintain attorney and office calendar
• Communicate with professional clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and witness preparation
• Prepare exhibit notebooks for hearings and trials

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paralegal is required
• Familiarity with My Case, DPA, and Trust accounting software is preferred
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and tracking a multitude of deadlines
• Ability to work independently and with other staff
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
