Host Hostesses

Established in 1996, Sakagura is a well-loved Japanese Izakaya located in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from Grand Central Station. We are currently seeking a professional and welcoming Front Desk Host/Hostess to join our team.

Compensation:

• $17 per hour during training period
• $20+ per hour

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate guest seating and manage floor plans using Resy
• Handle reservations and guest inquiries via phone
• Process payments using Square POS and cash handling
• Perform opening and closing procedures

Qualifications:

• Business-level spoken English
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (SSN, valid work visa, etc.)
• Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required
