Development Engineer-2

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

Managing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Quality management related activities from concept to PPAP to deliver parts at the right quality, total cost, while meeting timelines and end customer requirements. The candidate accomplishes this through collaboration with various functional areas like packaging, transportation, business resources, supply chain, etc.

Typical task breakdown:

- Support engineering and suppliers to help design the most manufacturable part. Email, meetings, and supplier visits

- Follow up with suppliers on RFQs

Interaction with team: Team will provide training and mentoring/ coaching

- Collaboration with Engineering and Suppliers

Team Structure

- 4 Product Procurement Engineer in the team who are doing similar role

- 1 Supplier Development Engineer

Education & Experience Required:

- Years of experience: 2-4 years and 1-2 with Master’s Degree

Degree requirement: BS or BS in process, engineering, supply chain
