Position Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced Automotive Mechanic / Service Technician in Spanish Fork, UT. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who can diagnose issues, perform complex repairs, and contribute to a high-performing shop environment.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and performance issues
- Perform timing belt replacements and related engine services
- Complete clutch and transmission repairs/replacements
- Conduct full brake services
- Perform suspension work (CV joints, half shafts, etc.)
- Handle power steering services and general repairs
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filters, fluid checks)
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Must have your own tools and equipment
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical work
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening (drug test, MVR, background check)
