Location: Rogers, MN 55374
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, with possible overtime on Fridays
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (480 hours)

We are seeking a dependable Crate Builder with a carpentry or woodworking background to join our team in Rogers, MN. In this role, you'll build custom wooden crates that safely package and protect finished architectural metal products for shipment to customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber to build custom shipping crates.
• Construct crates using power tools according to customer specifications and drawings.
• Ensure all crates meet quality, durability, and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, and work instructions.
• Work with the production team to meet daily schedules and shipping deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Carpentry, woodworking, or crate-building experience preferred.
• Experience using woodworking tools, including:
• • Tape measure
  • Drill
  • Circular or miter saw
  • Nail gun
  • Other standard hand and power tools
• Ability to accurately read measurements and follow blueprints or specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift, carry, and safely handle lumber, tools, and finished crates in a manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
