Outside Sales Representative - Exterior Remodeling

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated Outside Sales Representative who knows exterior remodeling inside and out. If you can read a damaged gutter system, and talk shop with a homeowner about siding options—all while closing the deal—we want to hear from you.

This is a field-based role for someone who thrives on building relationships, running consultative in-home appointments, and turning leads into satisfied, long-term customers. We provide the leads and the support; you bring the expertise and the drive to win.

What You’ll Do

•    Run pre-qualified leads and conduct in-home consultations with homeowners

•    Inspect and assess exterior projects including siding, roofing, gutters, windows, and doors

•    Take accurate measurements and prepare detailed, professional estimates

•    Educate homeowners on product options, financing, and the value of quality workmanship

•    Close sales and hand off clean, well-documented projects to the production team

•    Generate referrals and self-source opportunities to supplement provided leads

•    Maintain accurate records in our CRM and follow up consistently with prospects

•    Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at every touchpoint

•    Note where installation improvements can be made

What We’re Looking For

•    Proven outside sales experience, ideally 2+ years in exterior remodeling, home improvement, or a related trade

•    Working knowledge of exterior products and systems: siding, roofing, gutters, windows, doors, and related installations

•    A consultative, customer-first sales approach—you build trust, not pressure

•    Comfort working independently and managing your own schedule and pipeline

•    Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

•    Ability to climb ladders, inspect roofs, and move comfortably around job sites

•    Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record

•    Familiarity with CRM software and basic estimating tools (a plus)

•    Timely communication with both clients and staff a must
