Primary responsibilities to include:

  • Reviewing and finalizing correspondence, reports, discovery, and pleadings
  • Understanding the facts and backgrounds of each case
  • Electronic court filings
  • Tracking discovery and document production in written and expert discovery
  • Communicating with witnesses and experts and scheduling meetings and depositions
  • Reviewing client guidelines for billing purposes
  • Formatting general and reviewing pleadings, discovery, reports, and correspondence
  • Scanning, filing, and copying
  • Scheduling depositions and making travel arrangements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal secretary, medical malpractice or defense litigation firm preferred
  • Must have prior experience with litigation processes
