The DNA Group is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to support the ongoing administration, enhancement, and optimization of its enterprise ServiceNow platform.
Overview Requirements:
- Administer, support, and enhance the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) ServiceNow platform within the Office of Data & Technology.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow applications, including forms, lists, tables, workflows, notifications, and reporting solutions.
- Develop and support enterprise solutions across ITSM, HRSD, Source-to-Pay (S2P), ITAM, and other ServiceNow modules.
- Design and maintain Service Catalog items, automated workflows, approvals, task routing, and notification processes using Flow Designer.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Support ServiceNow integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and data import technologies.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve defects, and improve existing business processes through continuous enhancement efforts.
- Coordinate development, maintenance, and support activities with internal technology teams and OCTO.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, configuration details, and user guidance materials.
- Ensure platform solutions follow
- ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and upgrade readiness requirements.Partner with internal teams, vendors, and ServiceNow stakeholders to deliver efficient, user-focused solutions that improve district-wide service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum five years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience, including ownership or co-ownership of a ServiceNow instance.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and development best practices.
- Experience configuring Forms, Lists, Tables, Dictionary Entries, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
- Experience managing Roles, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Update Sets, and platform security.
- Proficiency in JavaScript development and scripting within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external applications through REST and SOAP web services.
- ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent IT Service Management (ITSM) knowledge.

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (Highly Desired)
- Experience with ITSM, HRSD, S2P, CSM, or SecOps Modules (Required)
- Integration Hub & Data Import Experience (Required)
- Public Sector, K-12 Education, or Highly Regulated Environment Experience (Required)
