Pediatric Nurse

Premier Pediatrics is seeking a nurse for an office based private practice located in Brooklyn. Part-time 26-30 a week. Maximum of four Saturdays per year. No weekends or holidays. Responsibilities include:

• Performs patient assessments. Performs and documents patient intake (height, weight, head circumference, blood pressure, vision and hearing screening, reason for visit, and chief complaint)
• Administers immunizations, oral and/or injectable medications. Administers PPD.
• Transcribes, collects, labels and arranges transport for lab specimens. Performs back office laboratory tests.
• Triages patient calls using sound nursing judgment.
• Serves as a resource for clinical office staff in the accurate and timely completion of patient care.
• Fills out medical forms as needed including but not limited to school forms, medication forms and 504 forms.

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN (Preferred)
