Repairman/Mechanic

We are seeking Railcar Repairmen/Mechanic for our facility in Rains, SC (35 miles west of Myrtle Beach, SC). The position entails repairing railcars that require routine maintenance or wreck reconstruction. This is an outdoor facility and requires the candidate to be physically fit.

We are a privately-owned small business, with 12 employees. Our core management team has over 60 years combined experience with large national contractors and small business start-ups. Our facility is M-1003 Certified.

The candidate must have at least 2 years experience in a maintenance position, in an industrial setting, and has to be a hands on individual. Mechanical skills and working knowledge of various types of hand tools and industrial equipment are required. Some local travel and overnight stays may be required, but will be less than 10% of time.

Drug testing and background checks are required before an offer of employment is made.
