Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients through vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
• Perform transition care for newborns and deliver postpartum care to newly delivered mothers
• Monitor patients using GE fetal monitors and manage equipment including Panda Warmers, Novi, and Neptune
• Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 2:1 within an 8-bed labor unit with triage, OR, and recovery capabilities
• Float to Mother/Baby unit as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Experience in newborn transition, postpartum, and newborn care
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
