Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week | Call required

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge planning for appropriateness and educational needs
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team, delegate appropriately, and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with hospital and unit policies; may float in rotation including sitter assignments

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN licensure or Compact RN licensure
• CVOR experience required; general OR experience and cardiac experience required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must consistently function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
• Willingness and ability to take call as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating within a hospital setting
• Demonstrated ability to maintain current knowledge of evidence-based procedures and clinical workflows
