SMH Level 2 RN Outpatient Infusion – Oncology

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 36 or 40 hours per week; primarily weekdays with weekend and holiday rotation per unit policy; 4x10s or 3x9s

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care, coordination, and patient education to Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient populations
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions
• Apply independent critical thinking and multitasking skills in a fast-paced outpatient infusion environment
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining strong communication and flexibility
• Monitor patients receiving infusion therapies and respond appropriately to clinical changes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Hematology/Oncology experience required
• Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Telemetry experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Stem Cell Transplant or Cellular Therapy patient populations
• Prior outpatient infusion nursing experience
