Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 26-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients, including high-risk OB cases and a culturally diverse patient population
• Circulate on cesarean section procedures as required
• Manage patient care across an 11-room, 15-bed unit with an average daily census of 15–20 patients
• Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Adhere to weekend staffing requirements and commit to working designated holidays as outlined by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN state license (pending license not accepted; compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts (18:00–06:30) on a 3x12 schedule
• Willingness to float between units and nearby sister facilities within scope of practice
• Clean background check required; facility does not accept background hits
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Postpartum nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also considered
