Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13–20 Week Options) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry
• Active and permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS certification in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA ACLS certification in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Continuous Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility setting
• Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity of compliance-heavy health systems
