Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit serving a diverse patient population including those with Infectious Disease, Hospice/Palliative Care, Oncology, Cardiac Acute/Medical Care, Post-Surgical, Bariatric, Urological, Neurological, and Orthopedic conditions
• Manage a patient ratio of up to 1:6 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings as part of routine patient assessment
• Complete required open-book EKG test at orientation
• Participate in weekend coverage rotation, including every other weekend (minimum 12 weekend shifts per contract)
• Float to a sister facility located approximately 25 minutes away as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona RN license or Compact RN license
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications, not expiring within 30 days of assignment start date
• Minimum 1.5 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience managing a 1:6 patient ratio
• Must be agreeable to floating to a sister facility as needed; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
• Experience caring for Oncology, Hospice/Palliative Care, or Bariatric patient populations
