Job Title

RN - Med/Surg (Telemetry)

Location

Des Moines, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Up to 3 Saturdays per 6-week schedule period; Sundays off; holiday coverage based on surgical volumes

Key Responsibilities

• Care for post-procedural patients requiring 1–3 night stays following surgery
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients as part of routine unit assignments
• Provide care for cath lab patients as needed
• Support ER overflow patient care when census demands
• Deliver comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care in alignment with unit protocols and patient acuity

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Med/Surg nursing
• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Ability to work day shift hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Availability for Saturday shifts and holiday coverage as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with post-surgical or post-procedural patient populations
• Familiarity with cath lab patient care
• Experience with ER overflow patient management
