Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Location

Scranton, Pennsylvania

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EKG monitoring, IV insertion, and medication administration for assigned patients
• Conduct Foley catheter insertion, vital signs monitoring, and thorough assessment documentation
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) as needed
• Perform point-of-care testing including blood glucose monitoring
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 within a 30-bed unit
• Float to other units within the facility as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical Surgical Telemetry setting
• Comfort with floating to multiple units in a fast-paced environment
