Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
- CNC machining experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and route instructions
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Experience using calipers, gauges, and precision measuring tools
- Familiarity with machining practices, tooling, and metalworking processes
- Experience with Okuma, Mazak, or Mori machines preferred
- Strong math and documentation skills
- Set up and operate CNC lathe equipment throughout the production cycle
- Perform turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling operations
- Optimize machine setups and maintain offsets for production efficiency
- Troubleshoot machining programs and make necessary adjustments
- Conduct in-process inspections and report quality concerns
- Read blueprints and follow manufacturing specifications
- Complete daily machine maintenance checks and documentation
- Communicate with production, quality, and management teams to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate shift records and production documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and position heavy materials
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely wear required PPE throughout the workday
