Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (NICU RN)

We’re seeking experienced and dedicated NICU Registered Nurses to care for critically ill and premature newborns in a high‐acuity neonatal intensive care setting. If you combine strong clinical skills with a calm, family‐centered approach, this role offers meaningful impact every shift.

Schedule

• Per Diem
• 12‐Hour Shifts Only
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates
• Perform detailed assessments of neonatal vital signs, growth, and development
• Administer medications, IV fluids, nutrition, and advanced therapies per provider orders
• Manage and monitor ventilators, incubators, infusion pumps, and other NICU equipment
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in infant condition or emergencies
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Support and educate families during emotionally complex situations
• Maintain strict infection control, safety, and NICU protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP required
• Strong neonatal assessment and critical‐thinking skills
• Experience caring for premature, low‐birth‐weight, or medically complex infants
• Compassionate, family‐centered approach to care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
