School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY)

Location: Canon City, Colorado

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Canon City, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician or a Clinical Fellow (CF) looking to begin their career in a collaborative school-based environment.

Position Details

• Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY)
• Location: Canon City, CO
• Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week
• Student Population: Preschool
• Caseload: Approximately 35–45 students

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to begin a Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
• Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for working with preschool-aged children

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide therapy services for preschool students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students' IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and support students' communication and developmental success through evidence-based practices.
