You will work on-site as the Affective Needs Teacher for grades K–5 at a supportive elementary school, focusing on students who benefit from your specialized expertise. Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Teacher License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement (Ages 5–21)
  • Previous experience teaching special education students strongly preferred
  • Ability to promptly complete district contractor documentation
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction for elementary students with affective needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs and behavioral plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with families
  • Support students’ social-emotional learning in an inclusive educational environment
