Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Pay: $37.23 – $57.71 per hour (based on experience)
Bonus: Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg to join a well-established healthcare team in Mattoon, Illinois. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the best clinical outcomes for patients.

Requirements

✔ Active RN License – Illinois
✔ Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
✔ BLS or CPR Certification (within 90 days of hire)
✔ ACLS Certification within 90 days of hire
✔ Med/Surg experience strongly preferred

⚠️ Note: Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Provide leadership and supervision to healthcare team members during the assigned shift
• Coordinate patient care assignments and ensure continuity of care
• Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes in patient status
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop care plans
• Document patient care, treatment, and progress accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
