Job Description
Pay: $20-21/hr
Shift: 6am start 8-10 hours shifts (Mon-Friday)
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized construction site by performing regular housekeeping and debris removal.
- Handle, move, load, and unload construction materials safely and efficiently across the job site.
- Assist with traffic control on and around the site, including directing vehicles and equipment in a safe and orderly manner.
- Spot equipment and provide clear guidance to operators to support safe movement and operation of machinery.
- Use hand tools, tape measures, and basic carpentry-related tools as needed to support construction activities.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks, including carrying, pushing, and pulling materials up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Work effectively as part of a large team on a busy construction site with hundreds of contractors present at peak times.
- Follow all site safety rules, procedures, and policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and equipment operators to support safe and efficient operations.
- Adapt to changing site conditions and priorities, completing tasks as assigned to support overall project progress.
Essential Skills
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with noise, dust, and moving equipment.
- Basic skills in general labor tasks such as material handling, cleaning, loading, and site housekeeping.
- Ability to use hand tools and a tape measure safely and accurately.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work productively with a large, diverse site workforce.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance to support consistent on-site presence.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
