Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Radiology Registered Nurses (RN) to support imaging and interventional radiology services on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, procedural setting and are comfortable supporting patients through diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Shifts
(7a–7p / 7p–7a)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients before, during, and after radiology procedures
- Administer IV medications, sedation, and contrast per protocol
- Assist with CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology (IR), and special procedures
- Provide patient education and ensure informed consent
- Assess and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Active RN license (state-specific)
- BLS (AHA required)
- ACLS preferred / may be required
- Minimum 1–2 years of Radiology, IR, or Critical Care experience
- Strong IV and sedation experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
