Job Description

This role is based at a single school in the North Denver area and runs from ASAP until October 2nd, offering consistent weekly hours in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with affective needs in elementary grades
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Provide behavioral and academic interventions, progress monitoring, and regular reporting
- Maintain all required documentation for student progress and compliance
- Attend and participate in professional meetings, training sessions, and parent conferences as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Teacher License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement covering ages 5-21
- Recent experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a public or charter school setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation for students with affective needs
- Ability to complete all district-required credentialing documents promptly
