Special Education Teacher in Littleton, CO

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with affective needs in elementary grades
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Provide behavioral and academic interventions, progress monitoring, and regular reporting
• Maintain all required documentation for student progress and compliance
• Attend and participate in professional meetings, training sessions, and parent conferences as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Teacher License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement covering ages 5-21
• Recent experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a public or charter school setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation for students with affective needs
• Ability to complete all district-required credentialing documents promptly
