Job Description

Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the school year! This role is based near Boyertown, PA, with immediate SLP needs in Reading. You’ll have the flexibility to choose from full-time positions (approximately 40 hours per week) with elementary, middle, or high school schedules, or explore part-time and hybrid options if that better fits your lifestyle. Assignments begin August 17th and run through June 11th, with the possibility of renewal.

The focus for these roles is on providing both services and evaluations, as well as collaborating with on-site SLPs who work with intensive classes and elementary caseloads (PreK–4th grades). If you’re interested solely in conducting evaluations, there’s room to tailor your workload. With the recent addition of more than 15 autism support classrooms, there is a particular need for SLPs experienced with Augmentative and Alternative Communication, especially with Proloquo AAC systems.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and clearances
  • Open to CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CFY candidates)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred, especially with IEP writing software
  • AAC proficiency and/or experience in autism support strongly desired
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • SLPAs are not being considered for these roles

Your responsibilities will include facilitating speech-language therapy, conducting assessments, writing and implementing IEPs using IEP Writer, and supporting students mainly in regular and specialized educational settings. Caseloads are managed according to state cap requirements (maximum of 65).

You’ll benefit from comprehensive medical coverage (including dental and vision), a matching 401k option, competitive weekly compensation, and an allowance for continuing education or materials. Newly implemented supports provide weekly meetings to ensure incoming SLPs have the guidance they need.

Ready to take the next step in your school-based SLP career in a supportive environment? Apply now and help students find their voice this academic year!
