Job Title: Material Handler | 1st Shift | $18-20+HR
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely handling of materials and operating forklifts and overhead cranes. You will support production operations through effective inventory management and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring materials are handled accurately and on schedule.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility using forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Maintain proper material storage and inventory organization to support production operations.
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and operating procedures.
- Help keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in operating forklifts required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating overhead cranes preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
