Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher license (SPED)
  • CDE certification
  • Previous experience working with high school students preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, educational assessments, and resource room models
  • Strong adaptability and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Resource Teacher for high school-level students, supporting diverse learning needs
  • Split schedule between two high schools within the district
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to foster student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and student progress reports
