RN - ED - Emergency Department

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Openings: 4
Location: Owosso, Michigan
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Nights
Hours/Week: 36 hours guaranteed
Float Requirement: Must float to Med-Surg
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: No call

Job Description Highlights:

The Emergency Room RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The role includes:

• Delivering direct care and patient education
• Supporting patient independence and well-being
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Floating to Med-Surg units as needed
• Demonstrating adaptability and strong communication skills
• Participating in continuous performance improvement activities

 Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 2+ years of recent ER experience – Required
  • Med-Surg float experience – Required
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA) – Required
  • ACLS (AHA) – Required
  • PALS (AHA) – Required
  • TNCC – Required
• License:
  • Active Michigan RN License – Required
• COVID-19 Vaccination:
  • Required (Exemptions accepted with proper documentation)
