CVOR Registered Nurse | Up to $57.05/hr | Cross-Training Available

Job Summary

Join a high-performing Cardiovascular Operating Room team and play a critical role in complex cardiac and vascular surgical procedures. This opportunity is ideal for experienced CVOR RNs seeking a specialized surgical environment, as well as seasoned Operating Room nurses interested in cross-training into Cardiovascular Surgery. Work alongside expert surgeons and multidisciplinary teams in a state-of-the-art surgical setting focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with all perioperative standards
• Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and patients for cardiac and vascular procedures
• Perform pre-operative patient assessments and participate in surgical time-outs
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical staff
• Monitor patient safety and advocate for quality outcomes throughout the surgical process
• Serve as a resource and team member within Surgical Services

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CVOR RN experience in an acute care setting required
• Experienced OR Nurses with 3+ years of Operating Room experience may be considered for CVOR cross-training
• Associate Degree in Nursing required *BSN preferred
• Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $38.03 – $57.05 per hour (based on experience)
• On-Call Pay: $5.00 per hour
• Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis

Schedule: Full-Time - Day Shift | No Regular Weekends

• 10-Hour Shifts (4 Days per Week) or 12-Hour Shifts (3 Days per Week)
• Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  

On-Call Requirement:

• 1 Weekend Per Month
• 3–4 Weekdays Per Month
