Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a growing women's health team in Mattoon, Illinois. This full-time night shift opportunity offers competitive pay, shift differentials, potential sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and the chance to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong Labor & Delivery experience and a passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Night Shift
• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 12-Hour Shifts

Compensation & Incentives

• $37.23 – $57.71 per hour (based on experience)
• $4.00/hour Night Shift Differential
• Additional $2.00/hour Weekend Differential (stackable)
• Potential Sign-On Bonus
• Relocation Assistance Available

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide patient and family education regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support emergency interventions and obstetric procedures when needed
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for team members
• Promote a safe and positive patient experience

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN License
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
• BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• ACLS Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
