Your impact

As a Die-Cutting Specialist, you’ll transform printed sheets into precisely engineered components for folding cartons. You’ll balance quality, throughput, and safety while mentoring peers and keeping equipment in peak condition.

Key accountabilities

• Configure, calibrate, and operate die-cutting presses, including stripping and blanking operations.
• Lead make-readies: set steel rule dies and counter plates, verify scoring/creasing across SBS, CCNB, and Kraft boards, and confirm accuracy via sample pulls.
• Track quality metrics during production and implement adjustments to maintain exacting tolerances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs to maximize uptime.
• Promote a safe workplace and high-efficiency teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and capabilities

• Previous success as a Die Cutting Operator/Pressman in printing, packaging, or folding carton conversion.
• Expertise with steel rule tooling, counter plates, make-ready materials, and stripping/blanking fixtures.
• Fluency in job tickets, dielines, CAD layouts, and quality specs; strong math and measurement skills.
• Mechanical aptitude; able to diagnose and resolve die-cutting issues. Exposure to Bobst, Heidelberg, or comparable equipment preferred.
• Physical readiness: lift 50+ lbs, extended standing, and safe work in a manufacturing setting.
• Detail-focused, quality-driven, and collaborative.
