Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic licensed Optometrist with a dynamic personality to join our organization. Blink has been in operation for 19 years and has a wonderful client base. The office Equiptment is all automated Topcon devices as well as a Maestro Retinal camera/OCT and state of the art Dry Eye Treatments with equipment from Envision InMode and Lumenis TriLift operating as an Aesthetics Center, Blink Skin.

You will be meeting with new and existing patients, reviewing their assessment results, and talking to them to learn about their current concerns and issues. You will also perform a comprehensive eye exam to detect any abnormalities, prescribe and fit the appropriate lenses, fit contact lenses and diagnose eye conditions. Work closely with the office staff, as well as outside medical providers, to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

The ideal candidate stays up to date on the latest advancements in Optometry, has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited school
  • A valid state license to practice optometry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent listening skills
  • Familiarity with electric medical records systems
  • The ability to work well independently, as well as within a team environment 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams to evaluate vision and overall eye health.
  • Diagnose and manage eye conditions, diseases, and vision disorders.
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, continuing education, and applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Be available to work Saturdays as part of the regular work schedule.
  • Maintain reliable attendance for weekend shifts.
  • Deliver exceptional service during our busiest business hours.
