Rate of Pay: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour (paid weekly)
Overtime Rate: $34.50 to $37.50 per hour
2nd Shift Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday; 3:45pm to 12:15am.
- Overtime always available; paid breaks.
JOB SUMMARY:
- MAAC is looking for an experienced fabricator/welder with potential to grow into a leadership role. The primary tasks involve building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport.
- MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar and I-Beam.
- Fabricating industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, catwalks.
- Grinding and finishing completed products.
- Perform quality checks on finished components.
- Installing finished components into machine structures.
- Disassembling machines for painting and shipping.
- Material handling with sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes.

DESIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum of 3 years of fabrication experience with various metals
- MIG welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes are a plus.
