E & I 1Location:Metallurgical Complex (Primarily Smelter) - Columbus, MTSchedule:Rotating - 5x4x4x5Day Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pmNight Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00amJob Responsibilities and Duties:Install, troubleshoot, and repair high, medium, and low voltage circuits in an industrial environment.Perform work on A/C and D/C motors and motor control systems.Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic instrumentation/controls systems and detectors. Maintain PLCs and Distributive Control Systems.Provide process instrumentation and electrical instruction to E & I 1 and Electrician 2.Primary work location is in smelter, with other areas in MET Complex as work compels.Qualifications and Skills:Required:Computer Skills Understand general operation of computers, and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel etc.), with a working knowledge of data logging, spreadsheet, Instrumentation and control software.Strong working knowledge of general electrical processes and procedures, such as the NEC, and interpret electrical prints. Have basic knowledge of prints, P&IDs, "smart" instrumentation, etc.Working knowledge of motors, variable speed drives and their programmingAbility to communicate and work well with others.Preferred:Electrical and Instrumentation/Controls troubleshooting experience.Electrical and Instrumentation/Controls maintenance experience.3 to 5 years Processing Plant experience, and/or an associate degree in Electrical and InstrumentationIndependent work habitsSibanye-Stillwater is an equal opportunity employer.
