Compensation: $28.00–$30.00/hour (Negotiable based on experience)

About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing custom plastic injection molding manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on Process Technician / Production Supervisor to lead its overnight production team. This is not a desk job—it's an opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the production floor, solving problems, supporting operators, and ensuring production runs efficiently.

This role is ideal for an experienced injection molding professional who has supervisory experience but still enjoys working alongside the team. You'll oversee production while also performing mold changes, processing adjustments, operating a hi-lo, assisting operators when needed, and keeping production moving safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and support production employees during the overnight shift
• Set up, troubleshoot, and optimize plastic injection molding processes
• Perform mold changes and processing adjustments as needed
• Drive a hi-lo (fork truck) to move molds, materials, and finished product
• Assist operators by providing breaks and helping run machines when necessary
• Monitor production quality, efficiency, and machine performance
• Complete production paperwork and shift documentation
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime
• Promote a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment
• Work closely with management to meet production goals and customer expectations

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with plastic injection molding processing
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience changing molds and optimizing molding processes
• Hi-lo (fork truck) experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to work alongside the production team rather than strictly supervising
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable work ethic and team-first attitude
