Hybrid 4 days in New York, NY
Our client seeks a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software across the stack. The role requires strong React experience, REST API development, and work with Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET. The developer will apply TDD and BDD, collaborate in an agile environment, and contribute to microservices architecture, secure authentication, and responsive UI/UX.

Rate: $89.00 to $99.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Design and develop responsive web applications using React.
- Build reusable UI components and implement modern design patterns.
- Integrate frontend with backend REST APIs and implement client-side auth flows.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with UX/UI to implement precise designs.
- Design, develop, test, and support backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Develop services using Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI), or .NET.
- Work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle for queries and performance.
- Implement secure components leveraging OAuth2, JWT, and API keys.
- Contribute to microservices design and development.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design sessions.
- Troubleshoot production issues across the stack and support stability.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX/UI, QA, and DevOps.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and estimation.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript with hands-on React experience.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data.
- Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Working knowledge of at least one backend: Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), Python, or .NET.
- Strong SQL with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle; familiarity with MongoDB or DynamoDB is a plus.
- Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and API key based authentication.
- Familiarity with TDD and backend testing frameworks.
- Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the stack.
- Experience with version control such as Git and platforms like GitLab or GitHub.
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern deployment practices.
- Nice to have: TailwindCSS, Material-UI, Ant Design, Webpack/Vite, GraphQL, SSR/SSG (Next.js), data visualization libraries, PWA, WCAG/i18n, Redis, Kafka, event-driven patterns, API gateways, service mesh, ORM, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, performance tuning.
- Preferred: enterprise UI experience, Agile/Scrum, secure API development, unit/integration/E2E testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium), package managers, TypeScript, code quality tools, WebSocket/SSE, responsive and mobile-first development, micro-frontends.
