Hybrid 4 onsite / 1 work from home in Greenwood Village, CO
Data driven decision-making is a core tenant of our client, a Fortune 500 telecommunications provider. This agentic AI development team enables this process and oversees an internally developed Generative AI enablement platform that helps employees leverage AI capabilities to enhance productivity. This role will focus on building full stack services and managing data exchange between the server and user-facing applications. Responsibilities include development of back-end logic, definition and maintenance of the database, and maintaining performance, quality, and responsiveness. You will collaborate with front-end developers to implement their components. Experience with AI agents, RAG, web search, and deep research is beneficial. Experience with Azure OpenAI cognitive services or GCP is desirable.

Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python, Node.js, and its packages and ecosystem.
- Collaborate in a microservices architecture to enhance and build reliable REST components.
- Implement and maintain databases including Postgres and Postgres Vector DB.
- Develop and integrate automated unit tests and use testing platforms to ensure quality.
- Work within AWS to leverage services for optimized application performance.
- Use Git for version control in a collaborative team setting.
- Participate in all phases of agile development methodologies.
- Analyze complex software issues and implement solutions.
- Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of Node.js, including packages and ecosystem.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with automated unit testing and testing platforms.
- Experience with OpenAI integrations, preferably Azure OpenAI, with GCP exposure a plus.
- Extensive experience with AWS services.
- Thorough understanding of Git.
- Proven experience with agile methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and troubleshooting skills.
- 8+ years of software development experience. 5+ years with Node.js, Python, or TypeScript preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
