Job Summary


Midwestern Career College is currently seeking a highly qualified, committed professional to join our team and work evening hours. Our classes are held Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM. We are actively looking for dedicated, skilled professionals to help train and mentor the next generation of radiologic technicians, shaping their careers and ensuring they receive the best possible education and hands-on experience in this vital field.


Requirements:



Essential Job Duties


• Deliver course materials for X-Ray and radiologic technology programs, adhering to the established curriculum.

• Engage students through lectures, demonstrations, hands-on instruction, and assessments.

• Conduct practical lab sessions to ensure students gain real-world experience with X-Ray equipment and techniques.

• Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of grades and attendance.

• Collaborate with department faculty to ensure cohesive and comprehensive delivery of the program.

• Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology, regulatory changes, and teaching methodologies.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities


• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.

• Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills.

• Computer-based skills (i.e., software, analytical, and report writing skills)

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines.

• Ability to develop a professional rapport with diverse college constituents.


Education & Experience


• AAS in Radiography

• Registered Xray Technologist (RT) license.

• Current license from Illinois Emergency Management Agency. (IEMA)

• Must have at least 2 years of clinical or teaching experience in X-Ray technology.
