Maintenance Level 1

Description:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role involves preventive maintenance, inspections, and responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems
  
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC issues and complete repairs
  
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
  
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  
• Assist with installation of new equipment or systems
  
• Coordinate with external contractors when necessary
  
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized

Requirements:Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
  
• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field
  
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and work orders
  
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks
  
• Willingness to work flexible hours or on-call shifts if required
  

Preferred Skills

• Certification in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical trades
  
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
  
• Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA or equivalent)
