Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Frederick, MD
Compensation: $23 - $28 HOURLY, commensurate with experience
Job Description:
At Budding Stars ABA, we're committed to providing high-quality, personalized ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll play a vital role in helping our clients develop essential communication, social, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy services to clients in home settings
• Implement plans developed by the supervising BCBA accurately and consistently
• Accurately collect, record, and submit session data and notes using designated ABA software systems
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
• Maintain professional, compassionate, and respectful relationships with clients, their families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with the BCBA Supervisor and other team members to ensure client progress and success
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification issued by the BACB
• Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities strongly preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong observational, data collection, and documentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism, compassion, accountability, and initiative in all aspects of job performance
Physical Requirements:
• Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs. and engage in active play
• Must maintain attention, alertness, and energy throughout sessions
• Adequate hearing and vision required for safety and observational tasks
Other:
• Current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Completion of required onboarding, ongoing trainings, and timely certification renewals
• Must own or have access to a personal device (phone, tablet, or laptop) compatible with required software
